Today's project was to build a new recipe card box Today's project was to build a new recipe card box for @backtobackdilemmas . One of the things I brought back from Canada was my mother's very old but broken recipe box with her hand written recipe cards for Emma. I decided she should have a new box to keep them in. So, down to my local @swindonmakers space and laser cut one from some 3mm plywood. This is an interesting design as it features a flexible panel that rolls down and hides away inside the box. Emma requested the words on the front of the box and on the back I put an oven temperature conversion table for her as our oven is in gas marks. Took a trip through the covered bridge at Hartland Took a trip through the covered bridge at Hartland, NB. The Hartland Covered Bridge in Hartland, New Brunswick, is the world's longest covered bridge, at 1,282 feet (391 m) long. It crosses the Saint John River from Hartland to Somerville, New Brunswick, Canada. The framework consists of seven small Howe Truss bridges joined together on six piers.

Today @yukimckenzie made Trdelnìk after watching Today @yukimckenzie made Trdelnìk after watching the awesome @janekrubes and @honzamikulka from the Honest Guides on YouTube. It turned out quite well we thought. @smallasiangrill had some while she was in Prague last summer and said it was better than the one she bought (no surprise I'm sure). Thanks guys for the idea to make it at home (in the UK).
