I’m quitting the GoogleToolbar

  • by

Well, I’ve decided to flush all traces of the GoogleToolbar from my systems. As much as I have loved using it over the years, and despite how useful it is, I’m just tired of having more and more Google related daemons running on my windows machine. I have the toolbar installed for both FireFox and IE .. and with that comes 4 seperate Google related services running on my machine. They are using resources that I just don’t see the point of. There is no justification of of these processes or the resources they consume.

So, until Google figure out a less invasive way to use their Toolbar, it won’t appear on my machines any more. Sorry Google, but you need to change how you do things.
