Hello there Rob, Yuki, Lisa & Emma. Glad to see that you are all doing fine. The girls are growing up to say the least. I hope you are saving for college! It looks like you all had quite a Christmas celebration. Hopefully the girls enjoyed it just as little kids should.

All is well here with everyone that you may remember. Although I have not heard anything from Richard since you left so I can't speak of him. I did something the other day that I have never done and that was have a session with an Astrologer. Kind of wild to say the least. One of the things she said I need to do is to travel and she specifically said to Europe, not locally around here but I don't know if I could manage something like that or not. Like many people I am still living paycheck to paycheck for the most part. Depending on how late you may stay up I am usually on the Delaware Traffic net weeknights at 1830 EST on 3.905 MHz. I don't know what you may have set up for a station but keep that in mind. We are on 1800 ESL on Saturdays. The band has been long for a while now so DX sounds better than us local guys.

Keep warm, Dave KC3AM

Hey Rob,
I would be very interested in hearing all about how you are coping with your new lifestyle! I envy your courage and willpower! How are you doing since your surgery? Do you feel okay? Was there a lot of pain?

Hi Jan,

You do this via the web interface.
1) Login
2) Goto Settings
3) Goto Telephony
4) Goto Connections

Here you simply configure the additional SIP Providers and activate it.

Then follow steps steps 2 and 3 above but this time goto "number assignment" under the Telephony menu. Toggle which phones should get incoming calls from which SIP providers. You can select all phones get all incoming calls or only certain ones. Likewise, you can select the default outgoing SIP Provider for each phone as well.

Hope this helps.

Hello,

Thanks for the comments. I'm using a 120AH RV battery. It's big, but I want to ensure I don't run short of power. Aside from just feeding the CPAP I also plan to use it for other things while camping or operating emergency communications (Amateur Radio).

The battery I bought is here:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=140249163606&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT&ih=004

In testing it at home before going camping (I hate surprises), I logged 50 hours of CPAP time and it didn't really dent the battery too much. One of these days I'll actually measure the actual current draw, but I think it's well under the 3A rating.

For solar chargers I'm not really too sure to be honest. I have 2 small panels both capable of 1.5w, so 3w in total. It's not much but given the long days right now it should be at least 30% of the nights usage I expect. They'll never fully charge the battery while I'm using it at night but it certainly replace some of the power used. I am planning to take an AC charger for the battery as well with me just incase. If I have too I'll just bribe someone with a caravan with Beer or Wine to let me leave it with them to charge up for a day :)

Good luck on your camping, I'd be interested in hearing how you make out.

Great, Just what I\'ve wanted exactly! What size battery did you go with? The machine says 3 amps DC. I need 10 hrs each night. My guess is that means somewhere around 40 to 50 amp hours (so there will be at least 20% of DOD left).

Yes I will be camping too. I also want to get a good solar charger and would love your input there as well.

David,

Thanks, that bit I've got. What I'm actually looking for is a way to say "You have received a call on xxx-xxxx". I have multiple numbers in different countries that terminate on asterisk. I'd like to have the message sent to twitter say something like:

"A call from [Callerid(num)] on [the number dialed by callerid(num)]"

I currently just use EXTEN, but the internal exten used doesn't help since I have 3 or 4 numbers that end at that exten. It's knowing which inbound number was actually used that I need to figure out.

@Rob: I would think if the AGI hasn't exited that the next step in the dialplan wouldn't be executed. Shoving it in the background is probably not bad, but you might want to submit it to batch so that it's handed off to something else entirely.
